UAE President orders release of 963 prisoners ahead of Eid Al Adha

President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan ordered the release of 963 inmates from penal and correctional facilities who had been sentenced in various cases.

He pledged to pay the financial obligations incurred in implementing these sentences, ahead of Eid Al Adha.

The UAE President’s humanitarian initiative comes within the framework of his keenness to give the released inmates a chance to start a new life, strengthen family ties, and instill the values ​​of forgiveness and compassion in society.
