Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Tuesday meet with the members of the board of directors of Dubai chambers of Commerce, Digital Economy and International Trade.
Three days ago, Sheikh Mohammed approved the restructuring of Dubai chamber of commerce into three separate entities. They include Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy and Dubai Chamber of International Trade.
He also approved the board of directors of the three chambers in a move that aims to create a new model to lead Dubai’s economic transformation and position it as a global business hub.
The restructuring also aims to solidify Dubai’s position as the capital of business and finance.
Sheikh Mohammed emphasised that economy is a top priority to establish a solid and prosperous economy.
“During my meeting with the board of directors of Dubai Chambers after the major restructuring where we formed 3 new chambers of commerce, digital economy and international trade. Establishing a solid and prosperous economy is at the center of our priorities, Sheikh Mohammed tweeted.
