Global Grad Show and Design Thinking tackles the challenges surrounding COVID-19

Brendan McGetrick, Head of Curation at Global Grad Show, shares his thoughts on the importance of design thinking in tackling the challenges surrounding COVID-19.

An Art Dubai Group initiative, Global Grad Show launched an open call for students and professors from all over the world to propose their solutions to the collateral issues surrounding COVID-19. The issues range from improving screening methods to mitigating contagious behaviour to public-private collaboration.

Proposals will be reviewed by a team of health professionals, innovation and technology specialists, who will select projects that can be supported in a Dubai acceleration programme. Selected proposal(s) will be contacted on April 16th.
