A Dubai startup has the largest network of female investors in the Middle East

With an aim to empower and educate women investors and entrepreneurs in the Middle East, Dubai-based investment group Womena launched ‘Womentum’, which received the highest number of female applicants to an accelerator in the region last year. Womena invested around AED3 million (US$817K) into 7 female-led tech startups including Souqalmal.com, one of the top disruptive Fintech companies in the Middle East as voted by Forbes.
